Green Day/ Seachtain na Gaeilge 2018

On Friday March 16th, everyone in Inver N.S. dressed up, either in Green for St. Patrick’s Weekend or in their favourite character’s costume. We had a busy day from the word go. In the morning, we all participated in a chéile outside. We danced Cur Brog ar an asal, An Staicín Eorna, An Damhsa Mór and Tar Chugam. The sun stayed out for us throughout so we were delighted! After the small break, we had Fred, the magician perform for the whole school. He was wonderful and a lovely treat for all.
Following lunch, we held a wholeschool Tráth na nCeist. It was a busy day but lots of fun!

Active Schools Week~ Seachtain Scoile Ghníomhaí

This week is active schools week.
Active schools week is when all week you do a lot of sports and compete against each other in finals.
We already did: Sacair (soccer), Rugbaí (rugby) and we are doing Iománaíocht (hurling) and Zumba today.
Tomorrow we are doing Cishpeil (Basketball) and Peil Gaelach (Gaelic). On Friday we are having the races and the presentations and I can’t wait for that.

We did Netball this morning it was Parents vs Students. Unfortunately the students lost but we tried our best.

We are enjoying sports week so far it’s really fun.

We run around the cones. We listen to Eoin so we would know what to do. We learned how to fist pass and solo. We ran up and down the pitch. We are getting very fit.
