Green Day/ Seachtain na Gaeilge 2018
On Friday March 16th, everyone in Inver N.S. dressed up, either in Green for St. Patrick’s Weekend or in their favourite character’s costume. We had a busy day from the word go. In the morning, we all participated in a chéile outside. We danced Cur Brog ar an asal, An Staicín Eorna, An Damhsa Mór and Tar Chugam. The sun stayed out for us throughout so we were delighted! After the small break, we had Fred, the magician perform for the whole school. He was wonderful and a lovely treat for all.
Following lunch, we held a wholeschool Tráth na nCeist. It was a busy day but lots of fun!
Damhsa le Angela
We have had lots of fun over the past two terms learning our Irish dancing!

Cumann na mBunscol
Yesterday my class went to our first game of Cumann na mBunscol.
Cumann Na mBunscol is a Gaelic football competition in which schools play against each other in the hope of becomming Cumann na mBunscol champions of the year.
Yesterday we (the girls) played against Shraigh in Bangor N.S pitch
and the boys played against Pullathomas in Pullathomas’s own pitch.
Both my team and the boys’ team played very well yet unfortunately both of us lost.
Despite our obviously disappointing losses, we all cheered up when our (really nice!) teachers brought us all into Sizzlers take away for chips and chicken nuggets!
We all had a great day and I enjoyed it very much.
We were gone all day and got no HOMEWORK!
