Here is a little snap shot of the last few weeks in school.

Tara, Olivia, Oisín and Joseph have been busy preparing for their First Holy Communion. May God bless them always✝️.

The girls in 4th class were part of the Cumann na mBunscol winning team🏆! We have had lots of learning and lots of fun! Our Netball league is nearly finished, with every team giving it socks!

The children enjoyed a little Easter hunt organised by the parents council and also the visit from the Ice cream van organised by the Student Council.🍦míle Buíochas!

Music Generation lessons have finished up and we are working on our own school song as part of the Creative Schools process.

We finished our term with a General knowledge quiz, our winners pictured below. Everyone is looking forward to the Easter break to relax and unwind with family and friends. Let’s hope the sun stays shining for us!

Well done to all the boys and girls who represented the school in the Erris Cross Country competition.  We hope you are all so proud of yourselves . Best of luck to our pupils who qualified for the next stage. Thank you to EAC for hosting a super event.

We had a wonderful Tug of war session with Noel Higgins from Tug of war Ireland. From start to finish, the session was well organised and fun-filled. Noel ensured every child was involved and he engaged with them energetically and respectfully.

There was a super atmosphere created when the whole school came together to compete. The session was a great reminder that no man is an island and every team member matters.

Noel ensured each child engaged safely and overall everyone left on a high and wanting more, including teachers!

Thanks so much to Noel for making the day so memorable .

Many thanks to Tallaghan Rowing Club, Noel Higgins from Tug of War Ireland, Connaught Tag Rugby coaches and kids in Motion Gymnastics for making our Active week so memorable. Thank you also to the parents who ran the Sports Day to kick start the fun week! The children had a wonderful day. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍➡️
