The 125 celebrations.
This is a very special year because our school is one hundred and twenty five years old. We are doing some special history projects for the year and you can see them on our website at www.inver.org.
We recently had a lovely Mass to celebrate it. All the children sang songs and we had one song written especially for the Mass. Everyone in 5th and 6th class said some prayers. A lot of people came and enjoyed the Mass. Afterwards everyone went up to the community centre where there was music by Michael S Togher and some food and cakes. We had a very special cake that was cut by Roisin Ruddy because she is the youngest student in the school. The cake was in the shape of the school and it tasted lovely!!! We all had a great time and there are lots more fun events coming up during the year.
