Well done to all the boys and girls who represented the school in the Erris Cross Country competition.  We hope you are all so proud of yourselves . Best of luck to our pupils who qualified for the next stage. Thank you to EAC for hosting a super event.

We had a wonderful Tug of war session with Noel Higgins from Tug of war Ireland. From start to finish, the session was well organised and fun-filled. Noel ensured every child was involved and he engaged with them energetically and respectfully.

There was a super atmosphere created when the whole school came together to compete. The session was a great reminder that no man is an island and every team member matters.

Noel ensured each child engaged safely and overall everyone left on a high and wanting more, including teachers!

Thanks so much to Noel for making the day so memorable .

Many thanks to Tallaghan Rowing Club, Noel Higgins from Tug of War Ireland, Connaught Tag Rugby coaches and kids in Motion Gymnastics for making our Active week so memorable. Thank you also to the parents who ran the Sports Day to kick start the fun week! The children had a wonderful day. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍➡️

Well done to all pupils who entered the Bord na Móna upcycling competition on behalf of the school. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations! Each one of you did a wonderful job!

We had a very busy April with exciting First Holy Communion celebrations !

We are all very excited to see our written pieces and illustrations published in our very own class book. Hopefully the end of May… Publishing Party Incoming!!!🥳

As part of our work on our Report writing genre, we studied our president Michael D. Higgins. Given his birthday was the same week, we decided to send him a lovely message. Check it out below!

Thank you to Ryan Gallagher for the lovely photos taken when we celebrated Mayo day .

The children in the senior room had a wonderful time learning about the craft of weaving. They also had an opportunity to weave their very own bird feeders with some children mastering the skill really quickly. Thank you to Tom and his helper Rob for sharing their expertise today.

We had a lovely gathering again today,  singing songs and playing games together.
