We had a very busy April with exciting First Holy Communion celebrations !
We are all very excited to see our written pieces and illustrations published in our very own class book. Hopefully the end of May… Publishing Party Incoming!!!🥳

The children in the senior room had a wonderful time learning about the craft of weaving. They also had an opportunity to weave their very own bird feeders with some children mastering the skill really quickly. Thank you to Tom and his helper Rob for sharing their expertise today.
We had a lovely gathering again today, singing songs and playing games together. 
A lovely time sharing stories once again!
Every class took part in Buddy reading where they read and listened to a variety of stories. 📕📚👂👬👭

Bhi an-spórt againn an seachtain seo ag ceiliúradh seachtain na Gaeilge. Ghlac na paistí páirt i go leor gníomhaíochtaí ar nós tráth na gceist, biongó, cluichí, rasaí, amhráin agus ceol.
Comhghairdeachas lenár mbuaiteoirí tráth na gceist. Cé go raibh sé gearr, bhain na páistí taitneamh as ár lá Glas agus Dearg freisin.
We had lots of fun celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge. Children took part in many activities including a Quiz, races, games, Singing, and music. Congratulations to our quiz winners!! Although cut short, children enjoyed dressing up for our Green and Red day.
Each class had the opportunity to take part in a drumming workshop today as part of our Creative schools exploratory stage. Barra from Slí na Croí explored many rhythms with the children and also spoke of how the drums are made and their origin, West Africa. It was quite exertive and super fun!
We had a lovely time exploring books together during Buddy reading today. Children also took part in their own classroom activities based on World Book Day.
