Easter Hunt Junior Room

WE had lots of fun hunting for our easter eggs around the school. Great team work followed when we competed in our Easter puzzle relays.

25 Volunteer Award for Eve

Congratulations to our Eve on receiving her 25 Volunteer t shirt at Erris Park run. Eve is the first junior parkrunner in Erris to receive this award. When she is not volunteering, Eve is busy running, having completed 63 runs in total to date! An amazing achievement! Eve is pictured with Erris Parkrun director Padraig Brogan. If you fancy a fun, sociable feel good event that will raise your heart rate, join Eve, her sister Lucy and her mum at Cross lake every Saturday @ 9:30am. Happy hearts!

Active break challenge

We are excited about our commitment to incorporate multiple exercise breaks into our daily routines. We have always been very good at doing exercise breaks to reinvigorate our bodies and minds but for the month of February, we aim to get 3 varied exercise breaks into our day. If you fancy trying out some of our dance breaks, check out the following example of brain breaks by the Learning Station. Plenty of fun promised!something all the family can do together!

Active Week 2018

What a busy week we have all had! Well done to every pupil who participated to the best of their ability, throughout all of the various activities, organised for Active week 2018. A massive thank you to all the parents who got involved, be it helping out or participating. We really appreciate your support and the children loved watching you take part in the games also! Thank you also to our visiting coaches throughout the week! We look forward to working with you again next year! Here are a few snaps shots of the week!

Gymnastics in the sun

Gymnastics

We have had so much fun participating in gymnastics sessions with Lorraine from Kids n’motion. So far we have tried rolling techniques and handstands along with many unusual stretching positions. The sun has shone throughout both lessons so please God it will continue to shine right through to Active week.

50th Parkrun!

Huge congratulations to Eve who celebrated completing her 50th Parkrun recently. What an achievement! Well done Eve. You are setting a fine example for all of us!
