Bhí na gnáthdhaoine sa Fhrainc an-bhocht timpeall agus 1789. Bhí cáin mór le h-ioc acu agus ní raibh i neart bia acu. Ag an am céana, bhí an rí, Louis XVI agus a bhean, Marie Antoinette, agus a gcairde, an-saibhir ar fad. Bhí na gnáthdhaoine ag eirí an-chrosta.
Ar deireadh, shocraigh ar na gnáthdhaoine an Bastille a ionsadh. Ghabh siad an Bastille, lig siad saor na príosúnaithe agus fuair siad go leor gunnaí. Bhí an reabhlóid tosaithe. Mharaigh na daoine bochta na mílte doaine uasal…agus an rí agus Marie Antoinette. Bhain siad úßáid as an gilitín. Glaotar Ré an Uafáís ar an am seo.
Bunaíodh rialtas nua sa Fhrainc ag an am sin agus bhí Liberté, Equalité et Fraternité mar mhana acu.

My First Holy Communion
On Sunday I did my First Holy Communion. We had lots of things to do before the big day. We had to do prayers and do lots of practices. Liam did it as well. My Mom’s friend came up and did my hair. When it was finished it was lovely. Then I put on my dress and Mom said I looked fantastic. When I went to the church, my teacher said I looked fabulous. After mass we took lots of pictures. Then we all went to the community centre and had lots of yummy sweets. After we went to Gateway and Liam went to the hotel. We had a great day.

We played soccer and rounders yesterday and we played circuits and basketball today.
It is important to keep fit so you can have a healthy heart.
I also try to eat fruit instead of sweets and that would be another benefit to my health.
